SUMMER SESSION 2008

The Summer Session 2008 Catalogue is available online at http://summer.newark.rutgers.edu/

Most continuing students will have direct access to Web Registration (http://webreg.rutgers.edu). There will however be restrictions for the following categories of students:

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

•     NCAS/UC EOF students with 29 degree credits or less

•     NCAS/UC EOF students with a cumulative average less than 2.000

•     Rutgers Business School students with a cumulative average less than 2.500

Undergraduate students falling into one of the categories above must bring their signed advisement form to the Office of the Registrar for in person registration or drop/add beginning Monday February 25, 2008.


GRADUATE PROGRAM

•     Ph.D. Management students (620)

•     Ph.D. Applied Math students (645)

Graduate students falling into one the categories listed above must secure a Program Directors signature on a course request form and deliver it to the Office of the Registrar for in person registration beginning February 25, 2008.

Special permission numbers obtained from the Academic Department offering the course may be used to override closed courses via the web.

The following web registration restrictions require in person registration:

•     Maximum credit over-rides are processed with written permission from the Academic Dean
•     Pre-requisite over-rides are processed with written permission from the department offering the course
•     Registering for a credit hour prefix, i.e., repeated courses, official audits or pass/no credit option


Beginning February 25, 2008 students requiring personal assistance on the use of WEB Registration or those students who are restricted from WEB Registration, may visit the Office of the Registrar, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesdays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

A $50.00 late fee will be assessed during the late registration period.  Submission of the Summer Session term bill finalizes registration.  Failure to pay on time will result in a $50.00 late fee.  Please refer to the Summer Session Calendar for payment dates.
