WEB REGISTRATION DATES AND HOURS OF AVAILABILITY

October 5, 2009 through December 4, 2009*

Monday—Friday 6:30 AM - 11:59 PM
Saturday 6:30 AM - 1:59 PM

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

Most students will have direct access to the Web Registration system (http://webreg.rutgers.edu) with the exception of the following:

•    NCAS/UC Newly admitted Freshmen & Transfer for Spring 2010
•    Newly admitted Undergraduate RBS Freshmen & Transfer for Fall 09 & Spring 2010
•    NCAS/UC/CN students with a cumulative average below 2.0
•    Undergraduate RBS students with cumulative average below 2.5
•    Non-Matriculated students
•    EOF students with less than 30 degree credits & Nursing EOF students with less than 90 degree credits
•    Ph.D. Management Students (620)
•    PhD Applied Math Students (645)

Students falling into these categories must bring a copy of their advisement form with an advisor’s signature to the Registrar's Office in order to have the Web Registration restriction removed. Once the restriction is removed, they may then USE WEB REGISTRATION (this does not apply to EOF, Non-Matriculated, Ph.D. Management or Ph.D. Applied Math students).

Students may only register for a maximum of four (4) credits in the Winter Session without written permission from their Academic Dean.

WEB REGISTRATION

Instructions on the use of Web Registration can be found at (http://registrar.rutgers.edu/NW/REGNF-NW.HTM). 

Special permission numbers obtained from the Academic Department offering the course may be used to override closed courses via WebReg. 

The following web registration restrictions require in-person registration:

•  Maximum credit over-rides are processed with written permission from the Academic Dean
•  Pre-requisite over-rides are processed with written permission from the department offering the course
•  Registering for a credit hour prefix, i.e., repeated courses, official audits or pass/no credit option

Beginning October 7, 2009 students requiring personal assistance on the use of WEB Registration may visit the Office of the Registrar, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

*Term Bill due date is 12-09-2009.  Therefore if registering within the two week period prior to the term bill due date, payment should be submitted online to avoid late payment fee.

LATE REGISTRATION

In person late registration begins Thursday Dec 10, 2009 and continues through Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009.  Students must visit the Office of the Registrar to manually process registration.  Term bill payment including late fee is expected upon registration. Registrar's Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Registration or Payment after 12-09-2009 is late and will be assessed a $50.00 late fee. 

Submission of the Winter Session Term Bill finalizes registration. Please refer to the Winter Session Calendar for payment dates.

TERM BILL PAYMENT

· NEW - PAPERLESS BILLING! Students will not receive paper bills in the mail. Students are asked to view and pay their bills over the web. Once you are registered, you may pay your student account at http://newarkbusinessoffice.rutgers.edu and click the flashing link for term bill payments online. Instructions for accessing your account information and paying your bill/confirming attendance can be found here.

· Students are expected to confirm their attendance for Winter Session even if their charges are fully covered by their financial aid. Students are expected to pay their semester charges on or before their scheduled due date.
