Benefit Entitlement:

        Veterans: (December 31, 1960 to August 1, 1974) apply for a $200.00 (per semester)
        State Tuition Credit Rebate. Call (732)932-8157 or (732)932-7067. (Notices 22-/3/93)

        NJ Vietnam Combat Veterans (renewal applicants only -- those funded prior to
        April 9, 1990) may be eligible for a full tuition Credit Rebate. Call the appropriate
        Rutgers representative on your campus. (Notices 12/5/91)

        Apply for a $200/semester full-time $100/semester part-time State Tuition Credit
        Rebate. N.J. Vietnam Combat Veterans from 12/31/60- May 7, 1975 may be eligible
        for a full tuition Credit Rebate.  (Official Notices 9/4/90)

        The VA advises that Under Public Law 102-25 the Persian Gulf War Veterans' Benefits
        Act of 1991, the Persian Gulf period is defined as beginning August 2, 1990, and
        ending at a date yet to be determined by presidential proclamation, or by law. If you
        served during this period, you're probably eligible for the benefits.
