Introducing a New and Improved Financial Aid System!

We are pleased to announce that we have implemented a new financial aid system beginning with the 2022-2023 academic year, which allows the university to streamline financial aid processes to improve the experience for Rutgers students and parents.

Within the new system, you can access a financial aid portal that allows you to manage the following:

View Your Financial Aid Awards

If you have not already, you will receive an email from the Office of Financial Aid when your awards are available to view. Please follow the instructions in the email to access the portal and view your financial aid package.

Submit Required Documentation

You and your parents/guardians can submit documentation in the portal to allow the Office of Financial Aid to finalize your aid package. You will receive an email if you are required to submit additional documentation. The email will also include instructions for granting your parents/guardians access to view your aid and submit documentation.

Accept/Adjust/Decline Your Federal Loans

If you receive federal loans, at such a time that they move to an awarded status, you will receive an email from the Office of Financial Aid with further instructions regarding the required loan acceptance process. This process replaces the Data Change Form (DCF), previously used to adjust or reject/decline loans, and includes a new required component for accepting loans as well.

We have created the Financial Aid Student Portal Library where you have 24/7 access to videos, quick guides, and other important information related to your financial aid and the portal.
